Water, Water Everywhere

Hello again from the WHITE FROGS!  Well, another week at school has passed and there are not too many left.  We can't believe that the year is almost finished.  There is is still some work left to do though.  This week our theme was WATER.  We learned a lot about good old H2O!.  It's one of the most important things in our lives.  Without it, animals, plants, and people could not live.

One of our stations this week was "Sink or Float."  We put different objects in the water and watched if they would sink or float.  İlker, Emir and Arda liked this station a lot.

 We had a worksheet with Walter Waterdrop.  First, we did a cool maze to get Walter clean and ready to drink.  Then, we had to pick which picture of Walter was different out of a row of 5 pictures. 

Arda, Boran and Melis did a great job.

Ozan, Ezgi and Emir are all smiles, as usual.

Affan, Kutay and Cansın are showing off their great work.  (Don't hide Kutay, we like to see your handsome face.)

Finally, Ezgi, Yağiz, İlker and Anday round out a job well done by the Whtie Frogs!  Way to go everyone!

Break time is a good time for us to relax and have a little bit of fun with our friends.  We are always sure to share and help our friends!

We learned about the Water Cycle, too.  The water cycle is how water on Earth gets used and recycled.  The cycle goes like this:  Rain - Water Storage - Vapour - Clouds.  The water cycles over and over through these four stages.  It's really neat.

We watched a video about the water cycle as our teacher explained.

We finished the week with a really exciting surprise.  We went to the planeterium and watched some really fun and informative videos on the domed ceiling.  Stars, planets, moon, rockets...we saw them all!

We kicked back and watched.

What a cool surprise!
