This week was special because we took a little trip outside of school. We went to the "World Costume Museum." It was lots of fun and the weather was really nice. We had time to get some fresh air in the park and play with our friends before we went inside the museum.
We are all lined up and ready to go! The class leader that day was Ezgi and she showed us the way to go.
Here we are at the museum. The 1st floor has traditional costumes from lots of different countries around the world
There are also lots of interesting pictures from Turkey and other places.
The 2nd floor has traditional costumes from different regions in Turkey.
Everyone really like the Turkish costumes. We thought they were so colourful and unique. What a fun trip we had!
Every week, as part of our English program we do some work from the "Happy House" book. This week we continued the unit called "Bathtime." We had a worksheet to complete, too. We had to match the words that Spike and Ruby Mouse said to a picture on the top of the page. Then we had to draw the picture in the right place. It's almost like reading! Our teacher told us what to do and we helped each other to finish a difficult worksheet.
Yağız, Boran, Melis and Ezgi are happy to show off their wonderful work.
Affan, Anday, Emir, Arda, way to go guys!
Duru, Cansın and Ozan did a great job!
Kutay and İlker are all smiles about a job well done!
We also took time to practice a song about toys we are learning. We sing and act out as well. It's a lot of fun for us!
Well, that was a little bit about the week we had. It was a full week but a pretty enjoyable week as well. We will back next week with more pictures. We are really excited about next week because April 23rd is Children's Holiday in Turkey. We are sure that it will be special week for everyone!!
Goodbye for now!
