A big hello from white frogs this week...
            This week contains fun elements blended with potato related activities and online educative games.
                        To start with...

 ...we watched the story of quinine and learned how they produced the medicine out of plants.

 Afterwards, we played "how plants grow?" game on the computer. In order to help your plant grow, we learned supply our plant with enough water and heat. 

Watch out Affan you gave plenty of water!!

Another day, we made our own potato book with the potatoes we brought from home.

Hurray! How great it is to have your own potato book :)
                                                    We will save them for a rainy day :)

WHEW!  What a week!  :)We worked on Spring activities and learned a lot 

about the changes in Spring. We made observations and listened to the sounds of 

Nature in our Garden Time. .  :)  You can check out some of the cute centers 

that we worked on as well as a few theme activities below.

                                      We are working on a flower matching activitiy.

                                It seems that it is such an easy job for Emir that he matches them easily.

                                                   It is time to do some worksheets.

Here, we draw petals around circles as the numbers indicated on them. Duru is proud of herself because she completed her work succesfully.

                                          Affan is working hard on his activity.

                  Here we see another flower graph. These flowers are so colorful and beautiful. The aim is to sort the flowers by their colors and types.

Kids had too much fun while doing it. Furthermore, we repeated the names of the flowers such as; daffodil,  tulip, rose and daisy each time we sorted them.

Art and colors

This week our topic was "branches of Art". In circle time we discussed about branches of art. It was clear that the kids enjoyed this theme because they used their creations.

Children loved to play with clay, molding it into all kinds of shapes in our ceramic room. By using clay, they did different kind of art objets such as flowers, mushrooms, a snowman and etc...

One of the most important branches of art is music. We created our orchestra.:)

         And of course we danced:)
